| Sandman Entry Yet is slumber but to sleep*Copyright © 1997 By Carol Whiteand is crying but to weep
 and lest we dream oft too deep
 then we arouse the sandman's keep;

 And oh to dream to stay within
 A secluded realm, that without sin
 Is merely but a dream, you say
 And mere mortals cannot come out to play.

 Of sleepy eyes, and daydreams done
 Of battles lost and battles won
 And laughter echoed all in fun
 Enters in the only one.

 Death doth dream of a starry night
 when the sandman comes with eerie flight
 Through timeless realms and darkened eyes
 A Journey off to distant skies

 Journey into another place
 Where unknown fantasy is your only grace;
 And silence there is never sold
 And eerie visions of night unfold.

 Caution abandoned without your will;
 An endless universe lies still,
 Cries of help are never heard
 Searching for the loudest word;

 Where light has dimished it's eternal hold
 And weary travelers are empty and cold;
 Only to go where you once began;
 Only to meet the eternal Sandman"
