Death Guide

Oh how weary and dark art thee
That thou must bestow thy nightmare upon me?
Unimagined horror strikes,at your very being
Do your eyes decieve you now
Can you believe what you are seeing?

A haunting figure stands before you
Smiling at your fright
"Enter into No Return, my dear,
Become a child of the night".

Ask me no questions, sweet
And I promise not to lie
But cross my path at midnight, dear
and you will surely die!

He stood there ever smiling
An evil lurking grin
Leave your soul at the door,
And we will let you in.

Before I knew where I was
I had already gone too far
A voice echoed loudly
Have you an inkling where you are?

In a moments notice
My guide was nowhere to be found
Where in this darkness do I go?
Do I dare to turn around?

My bones lie heaped upon the floor
I know now, I have died
I await my newly appointed task
Now I will be the "Death Guide"
